While water always reflected as a symbol of distance, a boat symbolized the possibility of connecting that distance. A boat is the known above the unknown. We at Corner Art Store are the boat that bridge the gap of the unknown for our traditional artisans and instate a sense of financial sufficiency for them. One of the first things we learn to make with a piece of paper or a cloth napkin is a boat. In that moment, even we were artisans and craft makers.
Our logo connotates staying afloat even during tough times and paddling through the challenging currents.With years of practice and learning, a sailor can navigate through the water, and an artisan can navigate through their art. Hence, we believe no symbol could reflect Corner Art Store better than our boat

In our logo, it is the concept of Corner Art Store that goes from corner to corner throughout the world searching for and helping our sailors AKA our artisans and craft makers. About Us
The roots of Corner Art Store began as a 'visionary effort' of combining the functionality of yesterday and the durability of today. The concept stands strong on the union of age-old art forms and the contemporary methods for reach and mobility. The idea is to bring recognition to our artisans and craft makers, and revolutionize the lineage of century old handicraft practices. Our aim from the beginning has been to instate financial sustainability and uplift the livelihoods of the creators of traditional craft.
The initial seeds for Corner Art Store were sown back in 2011. With an experience of over half decade in the handicraft industry, Corner Art Store birthed into a full-fledged company in 2017. Today this idea is backed with a collective experience of ten years. Over the last decade, our initiative has changed the lives of the artisans and craft makers we work with by leaps and bounds. Today we promote exclusively designed and eco-friendly handmade products made by them.
Corner Art Store is the brainchild of Mr. Vijender Tripathi. With an experience of over ten years in the handicraft and textile industry up his sleeve, he worked hard into making this initiative go live. We work with some of the most renowned organisations throughout the world who are pioneers in their industries. Currently the initiative is present and making a difference in three continents (North America, Asia & Europe) with over a hundred unique artisans and more in counting.
Uplifting Lives
We uplift the conditions of traditional artisans and their families. Making a difference in their everyday lives, we bring about financial stability and recognition for them. We make sure to safeguard the rights for the women and children involved. Dedicating hours in helping them revolute their work, we invest in the skillset and help them advance by teaching and giving opportunities. We especially, cater to women working in the traditional handicraft industry. Apart from imbuing in the skillset, we teach these women how to be financially independent and be able to drive the wheel. Today almost 50% of the traditional artisans working with Corner Art Store are women and we have lent our promise to look out for them.
Our Artisans and Craft Makers
We work with artisans and craft makers of traditional art. Our artisans and craft makers are spread throughout the world. Their expertise lies in handicrafts and textiles. The concept of Corner Art Store is heavily inspired by the functionality of the olden times. We take the art forms of yesterday and contemporize them to strive today. Our artisans are our sailors. The profession of an artisan is unconventional. It is based on both skill and will. We aim to help the craft makers and artisans keep their boats afloat. We strive for a union of creativity and exposition. We thrive on the idea that from every corner of the world we bring exposure for our artisans and craft makers. Bringing them a platform 'Corner Art Store' that breaks the barrier between them and the market place. With persistence up our sleeves, it is motivation we aim to enhance for them and in turn seek inspiration from them.
Impacting The Youth
To keep the spirit of traditional handicraft alive, we urge the youth to come and work with us. The hands-on experience we provide not only gives the recent graduates clarity but also instills compassion towards our artisans. We give a holistic glimpse thereby, readying our proteges for a sustainable career in the handicraft and textile industry. We instill good work ethics and strive to motivate the youth into doing conscious business, wherein, everyone benefits. We invite college students, art enthusiasts, recent graduates and anybody looking to make a difference in the lives of our artisans, our clients, our organization and themselves. Our aim is to provide a space of inclusivity and creativity. Not only do they get to work with countless art forms but also shake hands with renowned brands who we work with. Our ears and minds are open to what the young think and what they want to do with their thinking.
